I moved to Milwaukee, WI for my first job out of college, knowing that it would be a transition point for myself. It was 1 1/2 years of growing in many ways. I was making this series as a perfect way to announce that I was moving to NYC, which was a bit of a sudden news to most people I knew. I also had smaller scraps of copper and German etching paper that I didn’t want to go to waste, so this was a perfect mini project! I assigned the season or period of life as the title for each state when I lived there, each with significance. Half of the moves were put upon me moving with family, and half of these moves were on my account.
